The hotel boasts a fantastic breakfast with a wide variety of options, including enjoyable omelettes. The rooms were spacious and the beds provided a comfortable night's sleep. the shower lacked sufficient water pressure, making for an unsatisfactory experience. the mattress showed signs of wear, leading to an uncomfortable stay at times. Despite the shortcomings, the friendly staff stood out as a highlight, providing excellent service throughout our visit.

Excellent central location with quick access to shops. The bar and restaurant have a solid range of options, and the ambiance is comfortable for unwinding after a day in the city.

The approach to the hotel could really use some sprucing up—it feels dark and uninviting, especially at night. Inside, the connecting door between rooms let in quite a bit of noise, making it hard to catch some shut-eye. The breakfast options were fine, but the fried eggs served long past breakfast time came out rubbery, and it would’ve been better to have them cooked fresh on quieter days. On my visit, the jacuzzi was out of order, and the pool area was entirely closed for staff reasons on a Tuesday morning, limiting options to relax.

Despite my initial excitement, the missed opportunity for swimming on my son's first trip was disappointing. An unexpected room change added stress, but the staff quickly accommodated our needs, which was appreciated.

Had an awesome time with my friends! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the zoo, which is amazing with so many creatures to see. Great breakfast options too! The staff were really friendly and helped us when we needed it. Just a heads-up, the parking fee is around £10 per night, which is pretty standard for city spots.

We had a rough experience with the lounge on our second morning—there wasn’t enough food available, and we waited too long for someone to come help us. It could have been more organized.

We had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary! The breakfast was fantastic with cooked-to-order options, and I especially enjoyed the perfectly cooked eggs Benedict. The leisure center was a great bonus, and we loved relaxing in the jacuzzi after a long day.

I was really impressed with the pool area, it was clean and not busy at all. The breakfast was a big winner, plenty of choice and very tasty, I enjoyed an omelette that was cooked just right.

We absolutely loved visiting Chester Zoo, watching all those amazing animals! The breakfast at the hotel was delightful, and the staff were genuinely accommodating, especially Diane, who made us feel so welcome after our adventures.

In my wife’s opinion, the sofa bed wasn't comfy enough for our child. A thicker mattress would have made all the difference for her back.

This hotel suits me perfectly with its fitness centre, indoor pool, and 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the staff provided great local info. I recommend it highly for your stays. I'm planning another romantic escape!

Nice spot in the city

First off, finding the place was kinda tricky with all the roadworks. But once we got there, the location was perfecto for exploring the city. Room was spacious, and the beds comfy. Breakfast was delicious and filling! Though the parking area could use some work, it didn't ruin our stay at all.

During my stay, I really appreciated how close I was to the stunning Chester Rows, just a few steps away, which made strolling through the unique shops a delightful experience. plus, the easy access to the picturesque Walls of Chester also provided great opportunities for leisurely walks along the historic fortifications.
